Twenty minutes — thin and true

I am writing this because the hall keeps a shorter version of twenty minutes — thin and true than the one I lived through. If you only heard it at the table after bread, you might think nothing happened. Something did.

The rule did not change because someone was tired of explaining it. It changed once, in March, and we are not resetting that world because a new bed finds the ditch inconvenient.

Same thread next month if needed. Until then: boots, paper, mail, Friday.

Two lines is enough.

Same rule as last month. Still the rule.

Train was late. Bus was not. I still made Friday. Thin and true beats a calendar of maybes.

See you Thursday if the weather agrees.

Grey string is still string.

Counted twice because I do not trust my own memory after bread.

I am not asking for a bed in this reply. I am asking the board to stay boring in the useful way.

Mail if it is a bed question.

Locked bike, wet railing.

Writing so Saturday does not become detective work.

Train was late. Bus was not. I still made Friday. Thin and true beats a calendar of maybes.

That is all I have.

Quiet on Mondays.

Quick reply

Uses the name from Register on this computer. Other beds will not see it until you also say it on Friday.
